Gary Raham is a talented artist, illustrator, biologist and teacher. Gary writes science fact and science fiction, and is a firm believer that the latter often excites a new generation of scientists to discover more of the former.
Armed with degrees in biology from the University of Michigan, Gary taught high school science before pursuing careers in graphic design, writing, and illustration.
Gary has won numerous awards for his books, articles, and artwork. His writing has been known to make a reader laugh and think simultaneously with no apparent deleterious effects. His most recent SF title is Not Quite Dead Geniuses at Large on an Angry Planet, a 2024 Colorado Book Award finalist.
Gary had a 2018-2019 exhibit at the Loveland Museum entitled From Saur to Soar, The Synergy of Art and Science with paleontologist/sculptor Dennis Wilson. In 2021, he also participated in the Eastern Connecticut State University exhibition, Precision: Illustrative Technique in Art and Science.
Each artist we collaborate with selects a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to receive 10% of our company's profits from their designs at the end of each year. Gary has chosen the Northern Colorado Artist Community in Laporte, Colorado as his nonprofit!
